Granby, N.Y. — A man who disappeared while riding his four-wheeler Wednesday in Oswego County has been found dead.
Charles “Chuck” Mills’ body was found in a wooded area in Granby two days after he went missing, according to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office. He was 50 years old.
Mills went missing around 10 a.m. Wednesday while riding a four-wheeler near his Granby home, deputies said. After a two-day search, he was found dead in a wooded area near State Route 3 and County Route 8, deputies said.
His death is not considered suspicious. No other information about how he died was immediately released.
Along with deputies, the following helped search for the missing man: New York State forest rangers, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Fulton Police Department, the Oswego City Police Department, the Granby Volunteer Fire Department, Oswego County Pioneer Search and Rescue, the New York State Federation of Search and Rescue, and Empire Drone.
Strangers and neighbors joined Mills’ family and friends to search for him, deputies said.
